What is RIM?  RIM stands for Regenerating Images in Memory. RIM® is a pschycological technique that introduces a new paradigm of how our emotional operating system works. It’s a closed eye, verbal, whole-brain-and-body transformational tool that quickly and easily releases stuck emotional memories and regenerates them into new ones.

Neuroscience now confirm what RIM has done for decades. Emotions live in the body and negative emotions can live there for a lifetime unless properly released. RIM helps you find the stuck emotions in your body and safely and easily release them without reliving the traumatic event or old stories. RIM helps you create new positive emotional memories in your body that serve you much better. Are you ready?

RIM is used by psychologists, health care professionals, therapists, coaches, social workers and other helping professionals. RIM is a heavily-backed neuroscience tool for reducing stress and improving quality of life.

Research show that RIM significantly reduces the symptoms of stress related illness and significantly increases quality of life (Boxwell Dissertation, Holos University 2004). The University of Colorado is now launching a RIM study as a short intervention.

In 2000, a researcher at College of William & Mary discovered that recalling a memory biochemically destabilizes it and creates a window of time in which the memory can be transformed.

Like how you unlock the icons on your smart phone. Push and hold a specific icon and they all start to jiggle, allowing you to move or delete them before relocking the screen by clicking a button. We can do that mentally, we can push on a memory, regenerate a new version and resave it. Without reliving the memory we can recall a hidden sabotaging experience and emotionally change it to a new positive one.

RIM is controlled by the client, not the facilitator. The client is always in charge and has full control over their experience.

Because of this fundamendal difference, the role of the RIM facilitator is completely different than coaching or psychotherapy. RIM is not therapy.

Each session is a standalone piece of work and can take place via phone or Zoom or Skype. Many clients report that they have done more work in one RIM session than they previously did in years of therapy. Most clients don’t require more than 3-5 sessions and they can be spread out over a period of weeks or months.

*RIM is specifically contraindicated (not for) those with any condition that interrupts the ability to discern reality, like bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and/or paranoia.

RIM is based on the underlying premise that we are whole, we are not broken, even though we have had our shares of hurt, pain and difficulties in life.

Traumatic events create memories that pile up on top of our true nature. Sometimes we get confused and think that these events define who we are. We are not what happened to us, we are not our experience. RIM helps us dissolve and regenerate negative feelings, thoughts and memories, similar to cleaning the dust off the furniture in the living room, to uncover our natural brilliance and allow our true nature to shine through. Short and simple: Every outcome we experience in life is a direct result of how we respond to an individual event that occurs.

So how can you create the best possible outcome in relation to an event you have no control over? By taking responsibility and deciding how you respond to it. If you don’t like the outcome, you have to change your response.

Because you only have control over three things in your life: the thoughts you think, the images you visualize and the actions you take. How you make the most of them determines the outcomes you experience in life.

If you don’t like what you are producing and experiencing, choose now to change your responses. Change your negative thoughts to positive ones. Change what you daydream about. If you don’t like the way people treat you, say something about it or spend your time with different people.

If you keep doing what you’ve always done, you’ll keep getting what you’ve always gotten. In fact, if what you are currently doing was capable of producing the “more” that you are seeking in life, the “more” would have already shown up. If you want something different, you’re going to have to do something different!

You are the only person in charge of your life. I decided to take 100% responsibility for my son, I had to be the advocate of his wellness. When you decide to take 100% responsibility your life will begin to change for the better.

This is not easy.

Why? Because most of us have been conditioned to blame someone or something outside ourselves for the things and parts of our lives we don’t like. We heal from our mindset.
